We meet up in the city center to take the IKEA bus to the 3rd largest IKEA in the world (biggest until 2014). When we arrive I share the story of how IKEA was started, the history of the founder, current facts and future plans and then we take a walk and look around inside the showcase area. After the introduction we enjoy the classic meatball lunch together in the restaurant, which we of course finish off with a coffee and delicious cinnamon bun (all included). During the lunch we get to know each other and I will share more details about Swedish culture. The lunch usually lasts for about one hour. After the lunch we have approximately one hour to explore (and shop if you want) before we return back to the city together on the IKEA bus once again. The traveltime on the bus is approx. 20-25 min one way.
Hi! I'm Nina, nice to meet you :) I'm an authorized, professional and experienced guide in the capital of Sweden - Stockholm - my hometown. I have been guidning for years and I love what I do and now I'm trying out new and fun things with Airbnb Experiences. What better way to explore a new place than with a personalized, experienced guide? A great tour is a mix of fun facts and facinating stories. I make sure to interact with everyone on a personal level and the main goal is always to help you to have a great time in my city.
Traditional (8) meatball platter with potatoes - boiled or mashed (or fries) is up to you to decide.
Drink (free refill) and coffee is included
I will help you to make a great photo outside the store (if you want). Group photos will also be taken if everyone agrees.
In order to get to IKEA we take the special IKEA bus which is only available in a few selected cities. The IKEA (Kungens Kurva) we visit was the first IKEA to open in Stockholm in 1965 and it was the largest IKEA in the world until 2014. This store has a special showcase area with a design that was inspired by a famous art museum in NYC. The rest of the store looks just like any other IKEA (the maze) since that is the shops identity
最多可有4位年满18周岁的参与者参加。 A person taking part in this tour should feel comfortable in a group of new people, like to interact and have conversations.
- We will take the public shuttle to IKEA and back to the city. No restroom on the shuttle, only inside the IKEA store. - a set lunch (meatball plate) is included in the price of the tour. - the lunch usually take 1 hour and after we have 1 hour to explore the shop
