We will start off in the more posh Østerbro neighbourhood and venture off into the very different but extremely lively Nørrebro. The tour will end close to Nørreport Station one of the busiest transport hubs in all of Scandinavia and from there you can go anywhere in the city. Note: The tour has 6 beer/food stops. The amount of food served is that of a fair sized dinner with a good amount of beer. Tour highlights include (but are not limited to): - Two seperate beer tastings at a self-proclaimed nano-brewery and at a wonderful quirky speciality beer bar. - World class ice cream - with unusual flavours - An unconventional burger - Danish smørrebrød (open-faced rye bread sandwiches) at a Michelin-Guide Bib Gourmand restaurant - Snacks along the way - including pastry from a former Noma-chef - and more... - Visiting two very distinct Copenhagen neighbourhoods - A great introduction into Danish beer Almost all meals come served with beer of course The tour will also include a fun beer trivia - with a prize to the winner/winning team
I own and run Copenhagen Food Crawl, a small food tour company and I've lived all my life in Copenhagen and food has always been something close to my heart. I have a lifelong passion for food. But in the past 5 years or so I have also become really interested in craft beer and have now become a beer connoisseur. Combining food and beer is what my tour is all about and Copenhagen has amazing food and beer. So come join me as we eat and drink our way through Copenhagen's less touristy side, in search of those hidden gems that only a true local would know.
Pastrys, Ice Cream, Burgers, Smørrebrød and snacks
Everything from Lagers, Brown Ale's to IPA's and Sour's
We will be walking through Østerbro and Nørrebro. Two very different neighbourhoods that are somewhat off the tourist trail and is mostly frequented by locals.
