THIS IS A SHORTER VERSION OF THE 5* RATED 'DISCOVER WATERFALLS, CAVES & CAVERN' WALK I HOST ON AIRBNB. REDUCED LENGTH, DURATION & PRICE - THIS IS A HALF DAY WALK INSTEAD OF A FULL DAY.
Follow me on an unforgettable journey, through the Lake Districts infamously beautiful landscapes of mountains, forests and valleys, where together, where will we uncover spectacular caves and a HUGE cavern. Feel the chill as you enter the 400ft tunnel... immerse yourself in darkness... lose yourself in mystery.. Nothing can prepare you for the feeling of wonder you experience inside the caves & cavern - just don't forget your camera or your friends will never believe you.
Step back in time as I teach you about how this incredible landscape was formed through violent volcanic & glacial events millions of years ago. Unearth the long forgotten past & understand how ancient beliefs in gods and spirits brought bloodshed to these lands. Learn of the hardships faced by men, women & children working in the mills and the mines during the Victorian era and understand how Wordsworth's poetry helped to transform society.
This is a stunning circular hike that will leave you breathless at the beauty of nature & marvelling at the Lake District's history.
This is a DOG-FRIENDLY walk so please feel free to bring your furry companions along!

On street parking is available free of charge. Please do not park in the pub car park.
Need transport? I can collect you from your guest house in Windermere / Ambleside or South Lakes area for £10.

Public footpath sign 2 minutes walk away from The Three Shires Inn - If you have your BACK to the pub, walk LEFT down the lane for 2 minutes. You'll see the public footpath sign on the right-hand side, next to a white house. It's simple!
Little Langdale
We'll be away from the main tourist hotspots of Windermere & Ambleside, instead, taking lesser-known paths around Tilberthwaite & the Langdale Valley.
Suitable for those with a low level of fitness - no big hills but there are some inclines. The walk will last approximately 3 hours with breaks and sightseeing.

- It was a walk through a beautiful area with a good friend, Cassie, who just happens to be brilliant on the history of the area. Literally one of the best experiences we have had since moving to the UK 3 years ago. Your guide is kind, humble, and very bright about the area. Could not reccomend an experience more!
