After this, we get started with an introduction to Indian spices & our cooking techniques. Now I handover you the recipe sheets & we start preparing a delicious meal ( of your choice) including two curries, a rice dish, one or two types of Indian bread & a yogurt dish. Curry Dish-1 Butter Chicken:- Succulent Chicken Tikka in a creamy tomato & cashew nut sauce Or Lamb Keema:- Minced Lamb marinated with yogurt & cooked with onions, tomatoes, ginger & garlic Or Punjabi Chole:- White chickpeas (kabuli chana) pressure cooked with a bouquet garni of whole spices Curry Dish-2 Gobhi Adraki:- Cauliflower & potatoes cooked with ginger & green chilies Or Dal Tadka:- Flavorsome lentils cooked with ginger, green chilly, curry leaves & fresh coriander Or Kadhai Paneer:- Fresh Cottage cheese cooked in a wok with onions, tomatoes & capsicum Jeera Rice Fragrant Basmati Rice cooked with cumin seeds Veg Raita / Pineapple Raita Chapati/ Paranthas Finally, we all sit down to enjoy the lunch that you helped prepare and share our experiences
