You’ll check in at 8:30am and gear up. You’ll get a briefing on ocean etiquette and safety along with the how to interact with the dolphins, once in the water with them. You’ll leave the dock at 9:00am to seek out the dolphin pod. You’ll travel up or down the beautiful picturesque Kona coast, while seeking out the dolphins. Once you’re with the dolphin pod, you’ll get in the water from the extra large custom built swim platform for easy on, easy off access to the dolphins. Dolphins are curious by nature and will immediately swim around you to check you out and show off their talents and they don’t disappoint. This is truly a unique encounter you can’t get anywhere else. This isn’t anything like being with them in water park where you just get a photo op, you’ll actually be swimming with them in their natural habitat. Once that adrenaline rush is over you’ll be back on the boat heading back to the dock where you’ll be stopping at points of interest along the way to take pictures of the rugged Kona coast and learn about Hawaiian culture and historical facts while enjoying snacks and fresh pineapple. This is a bucket list adventure for the entire family and will be a memory of a lifetime.

I am a Captain of vessels up to 30 tons with a Master rating and am a qualified 1st mate of ocean going vessels of up to 100 tons. In college I majored in electrical engineering with dual minors in economics and marine biology. My area of focus of marine biology is in pelagic marine life and dolphins and sharks. I teach conservation and our impact to the marine life, on every tour, in a fun and interactive way. My tours allow me to teach people from all over the world and give them a better understanding of the importance of the oceans and why we need to keep them clean.
