UM football : 30 miles to the Big House. Equestrians- Waterloo Hunt: 9 miles. We offer dog-friendly accommodations (pet fee required). Want a pontoon to explore the lake? Boat rental within walking distance at the end of our street. We do NOT take responsibility for third-party boat rentals.

Bluebird Trails

This is a rare opportunity to be the only guests on a secluded 220 acres of gentle hills with grasslands interspersed with trees and ponds. Explore natural ecosystems and witness sustainable grazing of sheep. The back yard is filled with an organic vegetable garden and behind that are honeybees. Your family may participate in any and all of it. The newly renovated apartment is the upstairs of my farmhouse. It includes a private entrance, full kitchen and deck overlooking the lake.

Unwind on the upstairs balcony after dark and drink in the sounds of the lake and woods. This is the escape you’ve been needing.

This property is the perfect destination for a relaxing retreat or a fun packed day of water sports. Located on a quiet 80 acre spring fed lake, the options are limitless. The guest will have access to 2 fishing kayaks (the fishing is awesome here!) and 1 paddle board. Outside you will find the perfect spot to have a fire while watching the sunset hit the water/ice. After a nice day on the water the 65 inch Samsung TV and 7 speaker surround sound are ready for a movie night

D'Rose Cottage: Come Relax

Come relax at the spacious renovated cottage. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located cottage in the Village of Manitou Beach. Enjoy the outdoors and take advantage of the spacious yard, fire pit, grill, patio, fully enclosed porches, and open floor plan. The cottage is a mere two-minute walk to dining, tavern, shopping, cafe, and the public swimming area. Bring your boat. The public launch is only 1/2 mile down the road.

A cozy, comfortable vintage cottage offering lake views. The property is embraced by the 21K Acre Waterloo State Recreation Area, one of the largest in Michigan. Take a hike, run or ski on the nearby trails and visit the Eddy Discovery Center, easily accessible just a few steps down the street.
