Private Lake Farm Cabin, Pets Welcome

The cabin is a destination all on its own. Fish from the pier or banks on the privately managed eight-acre lake. There is a john boat which is quite old, uses paddles, and is in fair shape (feel free to bring your canoe or john boat.). A paddleboat and paddleboard are available for guest use and swimming. Enjoy walking the property and visit the onsite hoop house and orchard for free seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have fun by the outside fire pit roasting marshmallows with friends and family!

The Caldwell House

Country living, originally built in 1938 this rustic house has all you need for a short visit or a long well needed getaway. Very spacious 2200 square-foot entire house to yourself, fire place, an outdoor fire pit, grill, & access on the property of a fully stocked Pond. Also a great place for your work crew. Full kitchen & WiFi Only 9miles outside of Tuscaloosa, Home of the University of Alabama. This house is Far from perfect, but it is an old homeplace with lots of character in a rustic feel!

The pergola has propane firepit & charcoal grill for outdoor dining. Look from the living room windows & you'll see horses grazing!

Only a few hundred yards from the Black warrior River on Lock 9 Road in Fosters Alabama. 20 minutes from Tuscaloosa, but Hours away from the Rat Race Peace, is hearing crickets at night, the whippoorwill, and yes actual Bald Eagles live nearby "Silence is the sound time makes as it Passes", is very true here. The studio is located a mile from Newbern, along a main hwy 10 miles south of Greensboro, 20 east of Demopolis and 50 miles south of Tuscaloosa. The studio has brick floors and the interior wood walls and beams are from reclaimed barn wood. We want our guests to relax with a good cup of coffee, a great night's sleep and time to enjoy an Alabama sunset from the front porch chairs!

Even though this home was built in 1877 you can forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Here to ride? There is room to ride your atv around the property. There is even storage/parking for your toys i.e. atvs, sxs, and motorcycles too. You may have the option of renting a room or the whole place! One bedroom has its on sitting room and bath. The rest would be shared space. Ask about this if you just need one room!
