Rest and refresh in this 1836 Log Cabin with original hand hewn beams and the feel of an era long past. We strive to bring the present to life here with plenty of modern touches and comfort in every room. A full kitchen with special extras like dishwasher, garbage disposal and full size gas range and a refrigerator with ice maker. The entire house is wrapped in porches where there is space to enjoy the nature and peacefulness of country life. Off the porch there is a huge open air hot tub for8.

These pictures do not do the cabin justice, we have heard this from so many guests that have stayed at our cabin! You will not be disappointed with your stay at our cabin. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. A front and back porch with beautiful views to drink a cup of coffee, read a book or relax! Rustic elegance at its best. A great retreat with a mix of both, beamed ceilings and rustic characteristics yet chandeliers in the bedroom and elegant dining area with character throughout the home. Wooded back yard with dining area, seating area and hot tub with pergola. Property is located at Clarklake a public lake and access for swimming/boating can be gained at the public access a few minutes away. This location is wonderful to take walks/ biking with a 7 mile trail around the lake.

Bittersweet ski lodge is literally in the back yard. Less than a 1/4 mile to entrance. Kalamazoo River is across the street with a kayak/canoe launch just a 1/4 mile away. We have kayaks available to rent at a minimal cost and can provide drop off and pick up. There is a fire pit that can be used. There are 8 campsites on the property, 5 with 30 amp service and 3 with 20 amp that are available at additional costs. The Lynx golf course is about 5 miles away.
