7 Arches holiday accommodation was completely refurbished in July 2019. Benefits from stunning views over the Afan Valley and located on the Afan Forest Park's low level cycle route 'Y Rheilffordd' (railway in welsh) which runs along the base of the valley. This is a great trail for families with picnic and refreshment stops along the 36km trail. 'Y Rheilffordd' gives easy access to 6 world class trails as well as Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre, Glyncorrwg Visitor Centre and Afan Bike Park.

A 30min drive from the Brecon Beacons and an hour by train from central Cardiff. Surrounded by beautiful Welsh hills, with miles of walking and cycling trails, the area is steeped in history and mining and musical culture. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

The cabin is perfectly located and we are within 3 mins of junction 37 on the M4 and are within two miles of Margam Country Park. A 15 min drive will put you in the costal town of Porthcawl and Bridgend. We are a 35 min drive from the beautiful beaches of the Gower and the new Tower zip line.
