Grindstone Lighthouse on Lake Huron Private Beach

Your whole group (of up to 20) will be comfortable in this spacious & unique Lighthouse home in Grindstone City (technically Port Austin MI). You can bring your own boat/Jet-ski & park in our boat slip a few steps out the front door at the marina. Kayak to Turnip Rock, book a fishing charter & enjoy your fresh catch for dinner at the neighboring restaurant, relax at our private sandy beach w/ tiki bar on Lake Huron among so many other fun things around Port Austin, Grindstone City, & Caseville.

Unique Lighthouse Cottage with Incredible Views

Nestled on the hill above the Bay of Fundy, the lighthouse-shaped cottage boasts a cozy retreat with one bedroom, capturing the essence of coastal living. The highlight is the top-floor living room, where panoramic windows frame the beautiful seascape. From this elevated vantage point, guests can unwind in the warmth of the living room while enjoying the view of the sea caves, creating a tranquil and picturesque haven suspended between land and sea. Just a quick walk down the hill to the beach.

Excellent location to enjoy a great vacation close to everything! Great view from balcony and vaulted ceilings with skylights creating lots of sunshine!

Historic Selkirk Lighthouse - BOTH Floors

Built in 1838, the Selkirk Lighthouse still guards the Salmon River harbor at its convergence with Lake Ontario. Rental options are FIRST FLOOR ONLY, SECOND FLOOR ONLY or the ENTIRE Lighthouse. Its beacon shines brightly today for fishing charters that call the marina home and for mariners and guests enjoying a special stay in this historic structure. Lighthouse-themed gift items, tees, polos, sweatshirts, hoodies, beverages and snacks are available in our Marina Store/Gift Shop.

Historic Selkirk Lighthouse-2ND FLOOR ONLY

Relax & unwind in this iconic, unique and tranquil getaway. The historic Selkirk Lighthouse was built at the mouth of the Salmon River in 1838 and offers beautiful views looking out over the river. The upstairs suite can accommodate up to four (4) guests with two (2) double beds. Newly renovated private bathroom with shower, sink, make-up vanity, toilet & mirror. Amenities include - central air, mini-fridge, K-cup coffee maker, free Wi-Fi, picnic table, fire pit and grill.

Lighthouse of the Mid-South

Recently remodeled! New second story addition! An Amish built lighthouse that has been furnished and is tucked away in the county but only 15 min from downtown and APSU. The heating and cooling is an in-wall unit as well as a space heater. It's situated on a pond across a foot bridge from the barn. Behind is 4 acres of trees with trails through it that run up to a cattle pasture. There is plenty of space to roam with a play set to entertain the kids.

Stunning 1850's Eagle River Lighthouse

Carefully restored 1850's lighthouse. Stunning interior opens onto an amazing four season sunroom and wraparound deck with panoramic Superior views. Soak up lake breezes, curl up on oversized sofas, or enjoy meals in the gourmet kitchen. Steps away from miles of Lake Superior beach, ATV/snowmobile trails, top notch dining at the Fitz, and Eagle River Falls. Its central location makes exploring the Keweenaw in any direction scenic and simple.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and cared for by the Calvert Marine Museum (CMM), the Cove Point Lighthouse historic site has been lovingly restored and re-purposed so that it can be enjoyed by all. The active lighthouse and keeper's home sit on a seven-acre point of land in one of the narrowest points of the Chesapeake Bay.

Relax in the first floor of our 1838 Lighthouse.......ideal for anyone with fondness and appreciation of historic & iconic places. A trip to the very top of one of the ONLY 2 remaining "birdcage" light towers in the entire United States is available to our overnight guests (but not the general public). We look forward to hosting you and sharing more fun facts and Port Ontario lore about the famous Selkirk Light!!
