Free kayaks at this remote log cabin on the river in the Tennessee Highlands! Kayaks include one double sit-on-top kayak and one single Pescador kayak. Our remote cabin overlooks the East Fork Obey River (Dale Hollow Lake), and the scenic Tennessee Highlands. Stroll down to the water to fish or launch your boat from the nearby ramp on Riverton Road, just one street over. End the day by the outdoor fireplace, or relax on one of the two porches to stargaze.

Cozy cottage in the woods, quiet/secluded-but very close to Cookeville, TN. 3 bed/2 bath; w/ full kitchen. 8 max capacity. Covered front porch w/ a Blackstone grill & covered-screened in back deck with table Driveway is uphill and gravel- we drive up and down it daily ourselves- should have no issues besides winter, see other info on that in the listing.

The little log cabin that Barnwood Builders helped build! That's right. In 2019 Barnwood Builders, along with another local team, came to Cookeville to help sort the pieces of a 1800's log cabin. Then, we took over and built out this stellar, modern space with elevated furnishings. Your family and friends will never want to leave this relaxing oasis.
