Cheerful colors, mid-century decor, modern amenities, high-speed WiFi, automatic espresso machine. 15 minutes from the airport and downtown. One block from 14.4 acre Wilshire Park. Stroll or bike to the Alberta Arts district, McMenamins Kennedy School, or the shops and restaurants on NE Fremont and NE 42 Avenue. The area is bicycle friendly even by Portland standards.

Explore North Portland walking districts (restaurants, food carts, shops!) or the abundance of roses at Peninsula Park🌹, then retire to this fresh and recently renovated basement apartment. You’ll love its cork floors (that feel so nice under foot), one-of-kind kitchenette, Egyptian cotton bed linens, and spaciousness. I live upstairs, but I'm mindful of noise and guests find my space to be quiet and relaxing. I provide ample toiletries, quality coffee and tea, and travel guides.

The Solo Traveler's Backyard Garden Studio

If you are traveling by yourself, please read all the information in the listing to be sure this place is a good fit for you. The studio is located in the corner of the fully fenced and landscaped backyard of my 1910 house. The space is small, about 240 square feet. Public transportation is nearby, including 2 bus stops within 5 minute walks and the MAX train about a 15 minute walk. Several restaurants and food carts are also walking distance.
