The Overlook neighborhood is one of Portland's hidden gems. Quiet, tree lined, yet only a few minutes from all the action Portland serves up. Walk or ride to meals, brewpubs or shopping in the Mississippi and Williams districts. Hop a train (three blocks away) to downtown or The Pearl District. Timber Frame Guesthouse - 100% Green Construction

Cozy, beautiful casita! This is the only home of its kind in Portland. Artfully built in traditional timber-frame style, all of the joinery is wood-to-wood. Every timber was milled from our family land. Insulation is clay-straw and the walls are natural plaster. Enjoy a true refuge in the heart of NE Portland, walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, parks, Alberta Arts district & more. 12 minute drive to PDX, 15 to downtown. 'Mallory homestead' private garden apartment

A garden oasis and your own entrance to a private daylit ground floor apartment with a queen size bed, a fold out queen futon sofa bed in the common area and its own bathroom. Within easy walking /biking distance1.7 miles to hip strolling neighborhoods Alberta, Mississippi and Williams of north Portland.
